So, Evan Almighty was not exactly the best reviewed movie of the past year. However, perhaps one of the reasons that it was so poorly reviewed is that the viewing public isn’t reading enough books dealing with the hermeneutics of religion and a deconstructive-eschatological interpretation of the divine a la Richard Kearney’s The God Who May Be.
