Posted by thomas in : Uncategorized , 2 comments A few months ago on CBC Radio’s podcast of the program, Dispatches, there was a provacatively titled story about a Dutch-Arab exhibition in the Netherlands, (you can listen to the section of the program by clicking here, and scrolling to the bottom of the page to “The Arab Aisles of Dutch Shopping”).Apparently, according to Dispatches, “Your Breasts Would Be Delicious with Olives and Potatoes” (the title of the podcast) is a popular pick up line in Morroco, and also one of the more popular Arabic slogans on t-shirts sold by the innovative Dutch-Arab exhibition/store, El-Hema, which recently wrapped up its 4 month display after attracting over 50 000 visitors from August through January.
